Iris Leu - piano, keyboards


Iris is an award-winning singer/songwriter who embraces the solo musician's lifestyle by frequently touring the United States with nothing but her keyboard and a suitcase. Yes, a matchbox can hold Iris's clothes.

She released her first full-length album hushaboo in February 2009. Though initially recorded for her family and friends, the album received nods from the media and launched her into Dallas music scene.She is now one of the most sought-after pianists in Dallas, and the winner of Quick Magazine's "Next Big Thing" 2009 award.

During her youth, Iris competed in the classical piano circuit and attended the Texas Conservatory for Young Artists. She is an alum of the Texas Academy of Math and Science and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in neurobiology.

In addition to her solo work, Iris is the newest member of Chameleon Chamber Group and plays in Clay Pendergrass' collaborative group, Morning Elephant. Visit her online.
