Chameleon Chamber Group is an electro-acoustic symphony performing classical music with a modern twist. Like most of the composers, their performances are deadly serious, though injected with a good dose of humor, playfulness, thoughtfulness and color. Invoking the influence of latter-day artists such as Wendy Carlos, Brian Eno, and Carl Stalling, they perform the music of Bach, Satie, Rossini and Schumann – to name just a few – with a stunning authority. These skillful Chameleons exploit the evolution of digital components and electronic sounds while preserving the historical accuracy of the music in its day. The result is an unexpected and captivating expression of familiar melodies through a futuristic sound. Chameleon Chamber Group consistently delivers haunting emotion and virtuoso fun.
